RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The Wisconsin Esports Confererence (WEC) announced its 2025 Spring All-WEC teams, with UW-River Falls hauling in several accoldades in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Three Falcons made the first-team All-WEC, with Dominic Schafer leading the way as the WEC Super Smash Bros. Ultimate season MVP.

Riley Bresette and Christian Farnsworth also concluded a successful spring season with first-team honors alongside Schafer.

As a team, UWRF concluded the regular season as the top-seeded Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team heading into the WEC playoffs. The Falcons are set to compete in the 2025 WEC Regional, which takes place April 12-13 at at Chippewa Valley Technical College. After regionals, the 2025 WEC State Championships will take place May 3-4 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
