MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-15, with Megan Goodreau representing UW-River Falls as the Women's Hockey Athlete of the Week.

Goodreau and the No. 1-ranked Falcons went 3-0 on the week as she totaled 10 points six goals and four assists. On Tuesday, Feb. 10 versus Saint Mary's, she tied a UWRF single-game record with four goals and added six points on the weekend to sweep UW-Stevens Point (Feb. 13-14) with two goals and four assists. The NCAA Division III scoring leader had 14 shots on goal through three games with a power play goal, a shorthanded goal, and the game-winner against Saint Mary's.

The award Goodreau's second this season and the fifth of her career. It also marks UWRF's eighth WIAC Player of the Week award winner this season, following Megan Goodreau (Nov. 3-9), Sophia Hess (Nov. 24-30), MaKenna Aure (Dec. 8-14, Dec. 29-Jan. 4, Feb. 2-8), Alexa Niccum (Jan. 5-11), and Jordan O'Kane (Jan. 12-18).

No. 1-ranked UWRF (23-1, 10-1 WIAC) closes out the regular season this Saturday, Feb. 21 at UW-Eau Claire with the WIAC regular season title on the line.
