The UW-River Falls men's basketball team continues WIAC play beginning Wednesday night on the road at UW-Eau Claire before returning home to Don Page Arena to host No. 20 UW-Oshkosh on Saturday.

THE SERIES

Eau Claire holds a 98-117 advantage in the all-time series with River Falls. The Falcons, however own a 6-4 mark in the last 10 meetings. UWRF is coming off a major 69-47 victory over the Blugolds on Jan. 14 at Don Page Arena, highlighted by a historic performance from senior Jack Leifker. Leifker poured in a career-high 31 points, surpassing the 1,000-career point milestone, as River Falls controlled the game from the opening tip.

Oshkosh leads the all-time series 94-52. The Falcons are 3-7 over the last 10 meetings, most recently falling 104-86 on the road to Oshkosh at Kolf Sports Center. Leifker led River Falls with 22 points and eight rebounds, while Owen Havlik posted a career-high 16 points. 

FALCON NOTES
River Falls enters the week at 7-12 overall and 2-6 in WIAC play, posting a 4-4 home record this season.

The Falcons average 70.7 points per game, shooting 45.2 percent from the field and holding a +2.9 rebounding margin.

Jack Leifker leads the team at 15.0 points per game, ranking among WIAC leaders in scoring while also contributing 5.2 rebounds per contest. Jeremy Wanguhu, back in the lineup, continues to facilitate the offense, averaging 13.9 points per game and shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc. 

Micah Thompson averages 11.9 points and 8.2 rebounds, anchoring the Falcons inside and providing consistent second-chance opportunities.
