KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UW-River Falls men's and women's soccer programs were both recognized for their success in the classroom, earning the 2025-26 College Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches.

The annual award recognizes collegiate soccer programs that achieve a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. In 2025-26, a total of 777 teams nationwide (326 men,  451 women) earned the distinction, while 175 institutions had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The Falcon women's soccer team posted a 3.38 team GPA, while the men's soccer team recorded a 3.05 team GPA to earn the national academic honor.
