The UW-River Falls volleyball team will travel to the campus of UW-Superior this weekend for three matches at the Stinger Classic, Sept. 18-19 at Mortorelli Gymnasium.

FALCON NOTES
- UWRF is coming off a 2-1 weekend hosting the Falcon Invite, defeating Lake Forest (3-1) and Concordia Wisconsin (3-0) before falling to Bethel (3-0). The Falcons won six of their first nine sets and outscored opponents in kills (134-116), hitting percentage (.232-.156), service aces (24-13) and blocks (19-8).
- Senior outside hitter Emily Brenner led the offense at the Falcon Invite with 38 kills (3.8/set) and 44.5 points in three matches. Brenner reached double figures in all three contests and posted a weekend-high 14 kills in the sweep of Concordia Wisconsin, and was named to the All-Tournament Team and the Most Outstanding Player.
- Blessing Adebisi joined Brenner on the All-Tournament Team after leading the front row with 10 total blocks.
- Junior setter Cora Sayotovich directed the UWRF offense with 54 assists on the weekend, surpassing 1,000 assists in her career.
- The Falcons are off to a 5-2 start to the 2026 season, the program's best start through seven matches since 2023.
