The UW-River Falls men's soccer team continues their road slate this week with a pair of Minnesota matchups, traveling to Duluth to face St. Scholastica on Tuesday, Sept. 22 before heading to Moorhead to take on Concordia College on Sunday, Sept. 27.

FALCON NOTES

• UW-River Falls enters the week with a 3-4-1 overall record and a 3-1 mark on the road. The Falcons have scored 18 goals through eight matches, averaging 2.25 goals and 14.3 shots per game. UWRF has placed 61 of its 114 shots on goal for a .535 shots-on-goal percentage. 
• The Falcons are coming off a 3-2 road loss at Buena Vista on Saturday. UWRF controlled much of the attacking play, holding an 18-6 advantage in shots, an 11-3 advantage in shots on goal and a 9-1 edge in corner kicks. Buena Vista, however, converted all three of its shots on goal. 
• After trailing 2-0 early in the second half, Victor Vancauteren put the Falcons on the board in the 65th minute. Buena Vista answered less than four minutes later to regain the advantage before Elijah Lund scored in the 73rd minute to pull UWRF back within one. The Falcons recorded three shots on goal over the final nine minutes but were unable to find the equalizer. 
• Vancauteren has moved into the team lead with seven points through eight matches, totaling three goals and one assist. Sorel Richardson also has three goals and sits second with six points while leading the Falcons with 18 shots and 12 shots on goal. Hunter Berry and Carter Eklund have each scored twice, while Lund's goal against Buena Vista brought his season total to two. 
• Ben Harris leads UWRF with two assists to go along with one goal, while Gabriel Abad Lobo, Sean Church, Mauricio Cuevas and Ravel Martin have each totaled three points. In all, 11 different Falcons have found the back of the net through the opening eight matches. 
• Defensively, UWRF has recorded three shutouts. Jaime Mata has posted a 1.17 goals-against average and .792 save percentage through five appearances, while Greyson Shiek has appeared in five matches and owns a 1.88 goals-against average. As a team, the Falcons have a 1.50 goals-against average and .733 save percentage.
