The UW-River Falls women's soccer team continues non-conference action with a busy three-match week. The Falcons will host Bethel University on Monday, Sept. 7 before traveling to Mankato, Minn., to face Bethany Lutheran on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The Falcons finally return home Friday, Sept. 11 to host Augsburg University.

FALCON NOTES
- UW-River Falls enters the week 1-0 after opening its 2026 campaign with a 2-1 road victory over Gustavus Adolphus on Sept. 1 in St. Peter, Minn.
- After falling behind in the fifth minute against Gustavus, the Falcons responded with two second-half goals. Ellie Ketcher equalized just 45 seconds into the second half before Brooke McDaniel scored the game-winner in the 85th minute off an assist from Lauren Gregory.
- UWRF is coming off a 13-5-3 season in 2025 in which the Falcons scored 39 goals and averaged 17.8 shots per game. The Falcons finished 9-2 at home.
- Emery Bigler led UWRF with eight goals and four assists for 20 points last season, while Ketcher followed with seven goals and three assists for 17 points.
- Bigler & Ketcher were both First Team All-WIAC selections in 2025, while Valerie Leonard also earned First Team honors after leading the Falcon defense.
- The Falcons faced two of this week's opponents last season, falling 1-0 at Augsburg on Sept. 24 before defeating Bethany Lutheran 8-0 at home on Oct. 28.
