Box Score The UW-River Falls Falcons took a 62-42 loss at home against the UW-Whitewater Warhawks this evening.
Ollie White led the way for UWRF despite some early foul trouble finishing the game with 14 points and added four rebounds.
UWW was led by strong performances from KJ Evans and Eric Bryson. Evans had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Bryson scored 15 points in the game. Their offense was to strong all night going 23-47 (48%) from the field including 4-11 (36%) from behind the arc and added 12-20 (60%) from the free throw line.
Outside of white the scoring was spread out for UWRF.
Ben Gresmer was second in scoring with six points and
Grant Erickson had five points.
David Berthene led in rebounding for UWRF with five.
Zach Smith had four rebounds off the bench.
UWRF finished the game 17-48 (35%) from the field and went 3-16 (18%) from three point land. They also went 5-13 (38%) from the charity stripe. UWW grabbed 40 rebounds compared to 28 for UWRF.
The loss drops The Falcons to 7-11 overall on the season and 2-7 in the WIAC. They will play next at UW-Stout Wednesday evening with tip off set for 7 p.m. The last time the two teams met UWRF won 70-64 at River Falls.
