Track and Field Competes at WIAC Championships

OSHKOSKH, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) - This past weekend the Falcons competed at the WIAC Indoor Championships hosted by UW-Oshkosh. In the final team standings, both teams placed 8^th overall.

Track Highlights:

Sophomore Lexi LeFever took 11^th in the women's 200 M dash with a time of 26.30
Samantha Krueger took 5^th overall in the women's 60 M hurdles with a time of 9.06
Dylan Watcher took 12^th in the men's 800 M dash with a time of 1:58.85
The women's 4x400 team took 8^th overall with a time of 4:19.00. The team consisted of Lexi LeFever, Sarah Langlois, Marlee Dietrich, and Katie Haase
The men's 4x400 team took 8^th overall with a time of 3:33.42. Nate Rixmann, Collin Fluno, Mitchell Lorenz, and Dylan Watcher were all members of the team.
The women's distance medley relay took 8^th overall with a time of 13:33.67. Members of the team were Abigail Faust, Sarah Langlois, Rachel Anderson, and Emmy Farago
The men's distance medley relay team took 8^th overall with a time of 11:25.90 and a team consisting Adam Jacobi, Mitchell Lorenz, Beau Clemmensen, and Tyler Northey

Field Highlights:

Kimberly Robertson and Samantha Krueger took home 6^th and 7^th in the women's pole vault with both ladies vaulting 3.43 M
Luke Raymond took home 13^th in the men's high jump with a leap of 1.81 M
Lexi LeFever took home 6^th in the women's long jump with a jump of 5.36 M
Katie Haase participate in the women's indoor pentathlon taking an overall ranking of 11^th with a score of 2680 points
Collin Fluno and Leo Pittsley took 19^th and 20^th in the men's indoor heptathlon with scores of 3517 and 2643

Looking Ahead:
The Falcons have a last chance meet at UW-Stevens Point on March 7. Indoor NCAA Championships will be March 13.
