PRESCOTT, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's golf team finished second of seven teams as host of the Falcon Invite Oct. 1-2 at Clifton Highlands Golf Course.
The meet served as the team's final tune-up and sole home competition of the 2021 fall slate, preparing for next weekend's WIAC Championships in Reedsburg, Wis.
UW-Eau Claire finished 46 strokes ahead of the Falcons to bring home the team title, carding a 36-hole team score of 668. UWRF shot 360 on Friday and 354 on Saturday for a two-round score of 714 (+138).
Cadence Moe led the Falcons, tying for fifth place with a 172 (82-90).
Sydney Hufnagle,
Madison Hasley, and
Courtney Carson finished inside the top-20, along with
Macey Koehler, who played as an individual.
