FALCON NOTES
- UWRF went 1-1 last week and earned its first WIAC win with a 76-60 win over (RV) UW-Whitewater on Jan. 15. The Falcons shot a season-high 54.7 percent from the field against the Warhawks, converting 29-of-53 field goals. Senior guard Noah Hanson led the Falcons with 21 points per game through two games and was named the RCU Male Falcon of the Week.
- Noah Hanson has scored in double figures in all but one game this season and is tied for the WIAC scoring lead with 19.4 points per game and leads the league with 3.4 three-point field goals made per game.
- As a team, UWRF ranks second in the WIAC with 14.6 assists per game, led by senior point guard Bryce Phillips, who ranks second in the WIAC with 5.7 assists per game along with a 2.9 assist/turnover ratio.
- Against Augsburg University on Dec. 16, Phillips broke a UWRF single-game record with 18 assists. The previous most by a Falcon was 15, set in 1989.
- UWRF ranks third in the WIAC with 37.4 rebounds per game, led by junior forward Marshall Holland, who averages six per game (9th/WIAC).
- The Falcons lead the conference with 4.86 blocks per game.
