RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls softball team opens its 2022 season this Saturday, Feb. 26, with a pair of games hosted by Bethany Lutheran College.
The Falcons are set to face the College of Saint Benedict, and the hosts, Bethany Lutheran College on Saturday afternoon indoors at the Minnesota State University, Mankato dome.

Amber Dohlman is in her seventh season at the helm of the program, coming off an 11-18 overall record last season with a 7-13 record in the WIAC.
Sophomore outfielder
Johanna Breyen and junior pitcher Julianna Reynolds return as members of the 2021 All-WIAC Team.
Breyen was a First Team member and the 2021 WIAC Newcomer of the Year, batting .413 during conference play. An NFCA All-Region honoree, she led the Falcons in conference hits and runs scored and was second on the team in WIAC doubles and runs batted in.
Reynolds started in the circle in 17 of last year's 29 games, pitching seven complete games with four WIAC wins, and was named an All-WIAC Honorable Mention. In her 50 WIAC innings pitched, she averaged 4.76 strikeouts per game with 34 total strikeouts.
