RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team remained undefeated at home while improving to 13-1 overall with a 26-7 over UW-La Crosse Friday evening at Ramer Field.
UWRF earned a commanding 13-2 in the first period and didn't look back, holding a 17-goal advantage at the half.
The Falcons added seven more in the second to match a program record 26 goals for the second time this season. UWRF also scored 26 against Augsburg on March 30.
10 different Falcons found the back of the net, including senior defender
Grace Ross' goal of the season on senior day.
Emily Herdine led the Falcons with eight points of five goals and three assists, followed by seven points from
Emma Kohlbeck off four goals and three assists.
Josie Johnson scored three goals and logged a game-high eight draw controls.
UWRF out-shot UWL 45-16 and forced 21 Eagle turnovers.
Tomorrow, the Falcons host Colorado College at 3 p.m.
