EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team defeated UW-Eau Claire 15-5 Monday evening.
UWRF bounced back from a recent loss against Colorado College on Saturday with its second win over the Blugolds this season, improving its overall record to 14-2.
After the Blugolds scored the game's opening goal just over a minute in, the Falcons answered with nine-straight goals and led 11-2 at the half.
UWRF outscored UWEC 4-3 in the second half and led by as many as 11.

Emma Heerey led the Falcons with five points each, with Kohlbeck scoring four and a trio of Heerey. The pair combined for 14 shots on goal as the Falcons totaled 27 shots on target.
The Falcons close out their regular season this Thursday at UW-La Crosse.
