EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team fell 19-12 at UW-Eau Claire Monday evening.
The Falcons' overall record dips to 5-5 while conceding a season-high goals against.

Kyla Palo opened the game's scoring just 11 seconds in, the Blugolds scored four-straight goals and led for the rest of the night.
Trailing 11-6 minutes into the second half, UWRF scored four consecutive goals, including back-to-back unassisted tallies from
Josie Johnson to trim the Blugold lead to 11-10 late in the third period, but that was the closest the Falcons' comeback effort came.
UWEC scored five goals in a row in the fourth to put the game out of reach.
The home team held a slim edge on shots, 33-30. Johnson and Palo led UWRF with three goals each, followed by two goals apiece from
Bailey O'Donovan,
Emma Heerey, and
Grace Hannula.
