NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The No. 1-ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team defeated St. Olaf College 11-2 Tuesday night.
UWRF extends its NCAA Division III overall unbeaten streak to 39 games with the win.
The Falcons, now 6-0-2 overall, tied a season-high with 11 goals scored, matching their total from an 11-0 win at Northland College on Nov. 16.
Eight different Falcons found the back of the net, led by a
Katherine Bell hat trick - the second of her career.
Bailey Olson followed with a pair of goals while
Kylie Jones,
Ellie Brice,
Madison Lavergne,
Kailey Niccum, and
Alexa Niccum also scored Falcon goals.
Sami Pool and
Megan Goodreau both had two assists. With a goal and two assists on the night, Goodreau reached 100 points in her career.
Jordan O'Kane made the start and received her fifth win on the year. She was relieved by
Anna Rader in the third period.
UWRF returns to action with a road series at Adrian College on Dec. 6-7.
