CHICAGO, Ill. - The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team fell 26-1 at the No. 22-ranked University of Chicago Monday afternoon.
The Falcons were limited to 12 shots compared to the Maroons' 38. UWRF went 10-for-17 on clear attempts and had 15 ground balls.
Emma Heerey scored UWRF's lone goal, in the fourth period, her 12th of the season.
Kayden Hersback and
Abby Hammond each played one half in net, combining for four saves.
UWRF (3-2, 0-0 WIAC) returns to action tomorrow the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
