MILWAUKEE, Wis - The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team completed its three-game spring break trip on Tuesday afternoon with a 22-2 win over the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
The Falcons, now 4-2 overall, have a week and a half off before returning to action on March 29 at home against Carroll University.
UWRF recorded season-highs with 41 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers, outshooting the Raiders 36-7.
Samantha Hayek and
Emma Heerey led the Falcons with six points each. Hayek had three goals and three assists while Heerey had four goals and two assists.
Kinlee Knutson also had four goals.
Abby Hammond and
Kayden Hersback each played one half in net, with Hammond earning the win, her third of the season.
