MENOMONIE, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team earned a 20-5 win over UW-Stout Saturday.
The Falcons improve to 4-0 in the WIAC and are now 9-3 overall.
UWRF outshot the Blue Devils 42-10, led 18-10 in draw controls, and had 17 caused turnovers.Â
In the first half, the Falcons outscored the Blue Devils 15-1, earning plenty of insurance for the remainder of regulation.Â
Samantha Hayek led the Faclons with six points off three goals and three assists, while
Bailey O'Donovan led UWRF with four goals.
Holly Eckers also had three goals along with four points from
Grace Hannula.
Abby Hammond made the start in net and tallied three saves to receive the win.
UWRF heads to UW-La Crosse next Wednesday.
