RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The UW-River Falls Men's Basketball team is set to host UW-Platteville, the current top-ranked Division III men's basketball team, at Page Arena on Saturday, Jan 18.
The Falcons are coming off a narrow 55-53 loss to UW-Stevens Point, and enter the week with a 7-8 record.

- In UWRF's loss to UWSP, the Falcons trimmed a 14-point second-half deficit down to two points in the final stages of the game, but the team ultimately fell 55-53. Jack Leifker led UWRF with 11 points, while Regan Merritt recorded a career-high three steals. The loss marked UWRF's third consecutive game that was decided by two points.
- Zac Johnson has led the Falcons with 15.5 points per game off 39.4% shooting, while Jack Leifker has averaged 12.0 points per contest off 51.1% shooting. Leifker is also UWRF's top rebounder with 5.9 boards per game.
- The Falcons are limiting opponents to 63.3 points per game, which is second best in the WIAC. UWRF also limits its opponents to 40% shooting from the field, which is the top mark of all WIAC schools.
- UW-River Falls leads the WIAC in combined team rebounds, hauling in 38.9 boards per game.
