Falcons Fly South for Daytona Beach Shootout

The UW-River Falls men's basketball team heads south to the sunshine state this weekend to compete in the Daytona Beach Shootout, a two-day tournament hosted in Florida. 

The Falcons will open play on Friday, Dec. 19, against Maritime College at 2 p.m. (ET) before wrapping up the holiday trip with a matchup against Grove City College on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 12 p.m. (ET). This will be the Falcons first time matching up against either program. 

UWRF enters the tournament with a 3-6 overall record and looks to bounce back on the neutral floor in Daytona Beach after facing a competitive early-season slate.
