The UW-River Falls Lacrosse team will start off its 2025 season this weekend, traveling to Mount Vernon, Iowa to face Cornell College on Saturday, March 1.

FALCON NOTES
- UWRF is coming off a 2024 season in which the team finished 12-7 overall and 5-1 in WIAC play. The 2024 season was the inaugural year of lacrosse in the WIAC.
- Talia Hayes leads the Falcons in her fourth season as the head coach at UWRF. So far, she has accumulated a 39-14 overall record and a 5-1 clip in WIAC play last season.
- The Falcons will return their top two leaders in points from last season, Samantha Hayek and Brooke Glumack. Last season, Hayek broke the UWRF single-season scoring record and was named All-Region and First Team WIAC — Glumack also earned First Team WIAC, while returners Lilah Gilyard and Eleanor Thompson-Witt both earned Honorable Mention.
