Falcons lacrosse set to host Aurora in home opener

The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team is set to host Aurora this Friday, March 14 at Ramer Field in River Falls.

The game will mark the team's 2025 home opener. The Falcons enter the week with a record of 2-1 overall.

FALCON NOTES

  • UWRF most recently split its road trip last weekend, defeating Lake Forest 13-11 and falling to Carroll 11-9. Brooke Glumack led the offensive efforts with 12 points off seven goals and five assists, while Samantha Hayek totaled 10 points off eight goals and two assists.
  • The Falcons and Spartans have met twice all-time, with both games going to double overtime. UWRF won 16-15 in 2023 and lost 18-17 in 2024.
  • So far this season, the Falcons have outscored their opponents 44-23. UWRF is averaging 33 shots per game and 11 shots on goal per game.
