The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team is set to travel to La Crosse, Wisconsin to face off with the Eagle on Wednesday, April 2.
The game is the first annual Bird Bowl, with both programs joining efforts to support LaCROSSe Out Cancer, an organization in which lacrosse organizations nationwide raise funds for pediatric cancer research. More information and a link to donate can be found here.

FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons are riding a five-game winning streak into this week's slate of games. At 7-2 overall, UWRF is off to its best start to a season since 2022.
- Last week, UWRF captured victories over Edgewood (16-7) and Saint Benedict (13-7) at home. The victory over the Bennies marked the Falcons' 2025 WIAC opener.
- Samantha Hayek leads UWRF with 47 points off 33 goals and 14 assists. Brooke Glumack is just behind with 45 points, doing so off 24 goals and 21 assists.
- Hayek ranks first in the WIAC in points per game (5.22), second in goals per game (3.67), and seventh in assists per game (1.56). Glumack leads the WIAC in assists per game (2.33), ranks second in points per game (5.0), and stands at fifth in goals per game (2.67).
- Murphi Specht ranks fourth in the WIAC in draw controls per game (4.44) and fifth in caused turnovers (1.89).
- Goalkeeper Annelise Rommeck is 4-0 on the year, and ranks second best in the WIAC with 8.46 goals allowed per game.
