NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) today announced its 2025 Academic Honor Roll athletes and 2025 Academic Honor Squads. The UW-River Falls Women's Lacrosse program saw eight student-athletes recognized on the honor roll, as well as recognition as a 2025 Academic Honor Squad.
Teams must maintain a collective 3.2 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year to qualify as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. UW-River Falls is one of 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA to earn the honors for the 2024-25 academic year.
The following Falcons earned spots on the 2025 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll: Ella Davis, Lilah Gilyard, Brooke Glumack, Abby Hammond, Samantha Hayek, Kayden Hersback, Cassie Johnson, and Eleanor Thompson-Witt. Eligible athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The IWLCA honored 1,286 student-athletes from 201 different institutions for the 2024-25 Division III IWLCA Honor Roll.
The Falcons finished the season with a 12-5 record overall and a 6-3 record in WIAC play. UWRF saw five Falcons earn All-WIAC honors and two athletes named to the IWLCA All-Region team.
