RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's golf team opened its 2025 fall season hosting the Falcon Invite Aug. 30-31 at River Falls Golf Club, placing fifth of 13 teams with a two-day team score of 686 (+110).
UW-Stout finished first with a team score of 644 (+68) while Allison Meyerink won the individual title with a 154 (78-76).
Lauren Skov placed fourth among 74 total golfers with scores of 78 and 82 for a two-day total of 160 (+16). Skov's fourth place finish marked the highest by a Falcon since the inception of the Falcon Invite in 2021.
Behind Skov,
Lily Sullivan also finished inside the top 20 on the player leaderboard, carding a 171 with scores of 86 and 85.
Next weekend (Sept. 6-7), the Falcons head to Superior, Wis., to compete at the UW-Superior Twin Ports Collegiate at Nemadji Golf Club.
