UWRF Looks to Extend Win Streak Against Foresters

The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team returns to action this week as the Falcons prepare for a nonconference matchup against Lake Forest College. The Falcons enter the contest with a 3-2 overall record and remain unbeaten at home this season. UWRF has been sharp on both ends of the field, averaging 14.4 goals per game while surrendering just 8.2. 

Samantha Hayek leads the Falcons offensively with 27 points on 19 goals and eight assists. Hayek is averaging close to 5.5 points per match and is closing in on history, entering the matchup just shy of becoming the program's all-time career points leader.

The Falcons earned a 13-11 road victory in the most recent matchup last season where Samantha Hayek and Brooke Glumack each recorded five goals and two assists apiece.
