The UW-River Falls women's lacrosse team is back at Ramer Field this Wednesday, April 1, for a 5 p.m. matchup against UW-La Crosse. The contest will serve as the program's LaCROSSe Out Cancer game, raising awareness and support for pediatric cancer research.
Wednesday's matchup highlights the
LaCROSSe Out Cancer initiative in partnership with the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. The initiative brings teams together to help address the urgent need for childhood cancer research funding, as 41 children are diagnosed with cancer each day in the United States while only a small percentage of federal funding is dedicated to pediatric cancer research.
