FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons had a successful week going 5-1. They swept a doubleheader at UW-Stout and won three of the four games at UW-Stevens Point. UWRF is now tied for fourth place in the WIAC.
- In his last two starts, Shaun Gavin has thrown 16 scoreless innings, striking out 11 batters, while only allowing seven hits and one walk. In his start over the weekend, Gavin through a complete game shutout, in which he recorded his 50th career strikeout. Gavin is now 2nd in the WIAC in ERA (2.53) and tied for fifth in strikeouts (31).
- Freshman Daniel Kibler was the Falcons hottest hitter last week going 12-25 (.480), with a double, two home runs, nine runs scored, and 11 RBIs.
- UWRF hit eight home runs last week, highlighted by first career home runs from Ryan Eckerle, Daniel Kibler, and Hudson Wagner.
- Max Krebs and Tanner Hraby have been leading the Falcon offense. Hraby leads the team with four home runs, and Krebs leads the team in extra base hits with 11 doubles and two home runs. Krebs' 11 doubles are tied for a WIAC lead.
