The UW-River Falls baseball team remains home for a Saturday-Sunday WIAC series against UW-Oshkosh. Both days are set for a 12 p.m. first pitch at First National Bank of River Falls Field.

Join us this Saturday for First Responders and Alumni Day at the UWRF Baseball game, featuring ceremonial first pitches, an emergency vehicle display, a "Pass the Boot" fundraiser for the River Falls Food Pantry, special camo hat sales, and a celebration of Falcon Baseball alumni.

FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons are coming off a 8-5 win over UW-Superior, their seventh victory in the last eight games.
- Daniel Kibler and Ryan Eckerle each recorded three-hit games against Superior. Kibler now has a hit in each of his last five games, including multi-hit performances in three of them.
- Sophomore Shaun Gavin leads the Falcon pitching staff. He currently leads the WIAC with a 2.53 ERA and has struck out 31 batters over 32.0 innings. He also leads the Falcons with four wins.
- UWRF has controlled the base paths on both sides of the ball. Offensively, they have stolen 61 bases on 74 attempts, and their 82.4% success rate ranks second in the conference. Defensively, they have thrown out 20 runners, which is tied for the WIAC lead. Andrew Athmann has accounted for 14 of those, the most most by any catcher in the conference.
