The Falcon softball team returns to conference play this week with a pair of doubleheaders, beginning Wednesday at home against UW-Eau Claire at Faye Perkins Softball Stadium before traveling to UW-Oshkosh on Saturday. As conference play ramps up, the Falcons will face two familiar opponents in a critical stretch of the season and look to get a few back in the win column as post-season approaches.

THE SERIES
UW-River Falls has historically struggled against UW-Eau Claire, holding an 8-24-1 record dating back to 2010. The Falcons have dropped the last 11 meetings, including a pair of losses in 2025.

- Lucy Knutson has been one of the Falcons' most effective arms, posting a 3.54 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 29.2 innings while limiting opponents to a .317 average.
- Hailey Kincaid leads the staff in innings pitched (46.1) and has brought home three wins, while also throwing three complete games and recording 27 strikeouts.
