The women's swim and dive team fell in a close match, 123-102, to Macalester College in a home meet held at the River Falls High School.
Hannah Wiseman (Chippewa Falls, Chippewa Falls) led the Falcons with three first place finishes. In the 1650 freestyle, her time of 19:00.08 was nearly 56 seconds better than the second place finisher. She would also finish first in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:27.29 and in the 500 free with a time of 5:44.93.
Becca Skelly (Buffalo, MN, Buffalo) also had a first place finish in the 200 freestyle. She scored nine points for the Falcons with her time of 2:05.62. Skelly would have another first place finish in the 100 free with a time of 57.36.
Sarah Koch (Bloomington, MN, Benilde-St. Margaret's) was another top finisher for the Falcons. She placed first in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:30.11.
The 400 relay team of Koch, Skelly,
Erica Emery (Fond du Lac, WI, Fond du Lac) and
Candace Hoelzel (Neenah, WI, Neenah) added nine more points for the Falcons with a first place finish. Their time was 4:03.90.
With the loss, the Falcons fall to 1-3 on the season. They will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 3 as they host Lawrence University and Ripon College at home. The meet is set to get underway at 1 p.m.
