Men's Cross Country Opens Up Season

RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls Men's Cross Country team opened up the 2019 season hosting the UWRF Fall Invite at Killkarney Golf Course. 

THE RUNDOWN
Final Score: 4th place (91 points)
Location: River Falls, Wis.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
  • Joe Lezotte had the top Falcon finish with a time of 29:48.9 and he finished 20th overall.
  • Freshman runner Leif Rozycki finished 23rd overall with a time of 30:45.8.
  • Adam Jacobi, Adam Kasper and Caleb Anton finished 25th, 26th and 27th respectively.  Jacobi finished with a time of 31:46.9, Kasper crossed the finish line with a time of 31.50.5 and Anton finished in a time of 32:05.4.

THE OPPOSITION
  • UW-Stout took the top team spot with a score of 15.  The Blue Devils had the top six finishers in the race.
  • Michael Friedman of UW-Stout was the top finisher with a time of 25:49.9.

LOOKING AHEAD
  • The Falcons will compete next at the Roy Griak Invite hosted by the University of Minnesota on September 28th.
