"I am excited to welcome Coach Meadows to UW-River Falls to lead the men's and women's cross country programs," Lanning said. "It's an honor to join the staff at UWRF and I'm thrilled to have the privilege of guiding the distance athletes in the Falcons cross country and track & field programs. The chance to coach in one of the elite conferences in Division III and serve under the leadership of Coach Sowa is incredible. I'd like to thank Crystal Lanning for entrusting me with this opportunity. River Falls offers an outstanding, affordable education and great facilities set in a fantastic college town. I am excited to serve current student-athletes while honoring the legacy of alumni through the years."
