COLFAX, Wis. – The UW-River Falls men's cross country team finished 22nd of 27 teams at the UW Eau Claire Blugold Invite at Whitetail Golf Course Friday afternoon.
 
UW-Whitewater finished first as a team, compiling 38 points. The Falcons totaled 691 points.
 
Eric Ottosen earned the top time for UWRF, crossing the eight-kilometer finish line in 28:14.30 to place 122nd of 412 total runners.
 
Behind Ottosen, each of the Falcons' top-seven finished inside the top-200 finishers.
 
Adam Jacobi, Joe Lezotte, Sam Peters, and Zach Jacoby each cracked 30 minutes and finished among the top-150 competitors.
 
UWRF returns to action Oct. 15 at the UW-La Cross Drews Invite. The race is scheduled for a 5:15 p.m. start.
