WEST SALEM, Wis. – The UW-River Falls men's cross country team finished 20^th of 23 teams at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational Friday afternoon at Maple Groves Venues, LLC.
 
The meet served as the last tune-up before the Falcons compete at the WIAC Championships in Colfax, Wis., on Oct. 30.
 
The host Eagles from UWL, ranked second in the North Region by USTFCCCA, earned the team title with 60 points, placing three runners inside the top 10.
 
Eric Ottosen led the Falcons with a season-best 8k time of 27:21.24.
