COLFAX, Wisconsin – The UW-River Falls men's cross country team finished 8th out of eight teams at the WIAC Conference Championships hosted by UW-Stout.
Eric Ottosen was the first Falcon to cross the finish line finishing 48
th overall with a time of 27:36.7. The remaining finishers for the Falcons finished 51
st-56
th in the standings.
Adam Jacobi,
Joe Lezotte,
Sam Peters,
Christian Hjelman, and
Tristan Smith all finished under 30 minutes.
UW-La Crosse took the top spot finishing with 31 points. David Fassbender of UW-Whitewater was the top individual with a time of 24:35.1.
The Falcons will travel to the NCAA Central Region Championships on November 13. The meet will again take place at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis.
