RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls men's cross country team took second of three teams during a home meet, the Falcon Invite at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course.
Competing against student-athletes from Wisconsin-Stout, Northwestern-St. Paul, North Central University, and Oak Hills Christian College,
Eric Ottosen claimed the top time for the Falcons with an 8k time of 28:07.51.Â
UW-Stout earned the top team score of 15 points, finishing with all seven runners inside the top-seven. UWRF totaled 50 points, and Northwestern with 85 points.
Behind Ottosen,
Joe Lezotte finished among the top-25 with a time of 28:59.58 to place 23rd.Â
Adam Jacobi,
Sam Peters,
Zach Jacoby,
James Heeg,
Tristan Smith, and
Caleb Anton stayed in a consistent pack to finish 26th through 31st, respectively.Â
