RIVER FALLS, Wis. – UW-River Falls men's and women's cross country returns to action this Friday, Oct. 1 at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite.

The meet will take place at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis. The men's eight-kilometer race will take place at 4:15 p.m., followed by the women's 6k at 5:15 p.m.

UWRF will be competing against 33 schools, including six WIAC foes. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Falcons most recently competed last Friday at the University of Minnesota's 35th Annual Roy Griak Invite. 

Maria Laudenbach (So., Saint Francis, Minn.) led the women with a time of 23:05.3, placing 14th among 327 total competitors. As a team, UWRF placed 23rd of 29 overall teams and 21st of 27 Division II and Division III teams with 628 points.

Eric Ottosen (So., Wausau, Wis.) led the Falcon men with a time of 28:29.1, finishing 124th of 374 total runners.
