RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The No. 4-ranked UW-River Falls women's hockey team will travel to St. Cloud, Minn., this Tuesday, Feb. 8, set for a non-conference matchup at the College of Saint Benedict.
UWRF has a bye this weekend, and will prep to face UW-Eau Claire next weekend, Feb. 18-19, during the regular season finale.

TORKELSON EARNS WIAC WEEKLY HONORS
Senior forward
Kora Torkelson was named the Royal Credit Union Female Falcon of the Week and WIAC Women's Hockey Player of the Week after scoring five goals in three games last week, including a hat-trick against UW-Superior on Saturday, Feb. 5.
The conference weekly honor is the first or Torkelson's career, and the fifth by a Falcon this season;
Abigail Stow (Nov. 9),
Callie Hoff (Nov. 16 & Dec. 14), and
Alex Hantge (Jan. 11).
IN THE POLLS
The Falcons are ranked fourth nationally for the fifth consecutive week, garnering 107 points in this week's USCHO Division III women's poll. UW-Eau Claire is ranked No. 5 with 85 points.
CALLIE HOFF, RECORD-BREAKER
- Fifth-year senior forward Callie Hoff became the UWRF women's hockey all-time leading scorer on Tuesday, Feb. 1 against Augsburg University, as one of her two goals on the night stood as her 169th career point, passing former Falcon All-American and 2017 DIII Player of the Year Dani Sibley on the all-time scoring list.
- On Jan. 26 at St. Scholastica, Hoff scored her 85th career goal to become the UWRF all-time goal-scoring leader, passing her former teammate, Carly Moran.
FALCON NOTES
- UWRF is the national leader with 124 goals scored, averaging 5.9 goals per game.
- The Falcons have scored on the power play in seven-straight games, including six consecutive with at least two power play goals scored per game.
- UWRF leads Division III with a .351 power play percentage, converting on 26 of 74 attempts.
- Callie Hoff is the DIII leading scorer with 47 points off 18 goals and 29 assists. Hoff and Abigail Stow are tied for the nation's lead with 29 assists each.
- UWRF ranks second nationally with 10 shutouts, led by goaltenders Sami Miller, Jordan O'Connor, and Pistol Cowden, who each own a save percentage over .900. Cowden has an impressive .972 save percentage while Miller has a 10-1 record.
