UWRF totaled eight hits compared to seven from Ramapo, led two hits apiece from Kelly Aultman and Chapin Rappaport

Starting pitcher Lindsey Duggan held Ramapo scorless through the first four innings, while UWRF gained a 3-0 lead in the third inning off an Aultman RBI double and a 2-RBI single from Johanna Breyen.

Ramapo scored runs in each the fifth, sixth, and seventh, but the Falcons' two runs in the fifth and another in the sixth made the difference.

UWRF scored two in the fifth, with a 2-RBI single from Keegan Piton, scoring Breyen and Aultman for the eventual game-winning run.

Duggan was relieved by Maggie Wallin in the sixth, and she earned a two-inning save. Duggan earned the win to improve her record to 4-0.
