RIVER FALLS, Wis. – UW-River Falls head cross country coach
Trey Meadows announced the upcoming 2022 fall schedule this week.
In 2021, the men finished eighth and the women seventh at the WIAC Championships.
Lauren Flynn earned a top-25 finish at the conference meet, finishing 24th with a time of 23:29.1.
UWRF men and women earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team awards with cumulative GPAs of at least 3.0, along with
Maria Laudenbach named an All-Academic athlete. Laudenbach won two races last fall, and was named the WIAC Athlete of the Week Sept. 14.
The Falcons will host its Alumni 5k on August 27, and officially kick off the season at the Twin Cities Twilight race on Friday, Sept. 2 at Victory Links Golf Course in Blaine, Minn., hosted by Bethel University. On Sept. 9, UWRF hosts its sole home meet of the season at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course in River Falls.
The WIAC Championships will take place on Saturday, Oct. 29 in La Crosse, Wis.
