The UW-River Falls and UW-La Crosse women's lacrosse teams are joining forces to raise funds to support pediatric cancer research, partnering with LaCROSSe Out Cancer with the inaugural Bird Bowl on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

UWRF invites fans to join the mission by making a $47 donation. Why $47? Each day, forty-seven children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer. In the week leading up to the game, UWRF and UWL is taking on the challenge of completing 47 reps daily—whether it's wall ball, shooting, or passing drills—to raise awareness and show their commitment to the cause.
