MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) released its Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of April 21-27, with UW-River Falls junior Samantha Hayek earning women's lacrosse offensive player of the week.

Across a 2-0 week for UW-River Falls, junior Samantha Hayek recorded 14 points off 12 goals and two assists in just five quarters played. Hayek scored 12 goals off 16 shots on goal and 22 total shots. In UWRF's 21-3 win over UW-Stout, Hayek scored her 100th career goal, doing so in 35 games played as a Falcon. In addition to her offensive stats, Hayek also recorded seven ground balls and one caused turnover. Hayek anchored the Falcons' offense in a 2-0 week in which UWRF outscored its opponents 41-6.

The Falcons enter the week with a record of 11-5 overall and 6-3 in WIAC play. UWRF is set to close out its 2025 season tonight at Augsburg, with the game scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
